I like seeing them

dog barks at a little toddler. Mum picks up the spaniel to go outside. Toddler girl in pink dress wanders in front drive. Then Daddy comes home in his big van. Dog barks at van

Maybe kids are less fun when they're teens

None, but I have 2 nieces and either 4 or 5 nephews in my immediate family that I sometimes babysit. My new nephews were just joined to the family by my sister's marriage, so I might have forgotten one of them. Some responsible adult I am. In my defense, they look alike.

No children, but my sisters are 16 and 20 years younger than me. That's enough.

According to a recently conducted inventory, my counts look like this:

Gravida: 0; Para: 0 and I'm bound and determined to keep it that way.

I'm very glad that my boyfriend feels the exact same way about children.

Wow! babysitting the little 'uns in/outside the family

then you might start a longlasting relationship of appreciation or hate or fear

I ignored them all too much

The way it starts dominates the relationship. Sad that it's generally no way back

My niece older than me didn't appear as the sister I needed

Shame that the uncle/aunt vs nephew/niece friendship isn't natural for all people the same age (cousins) as the parents don't nurture it
