Hi everyone.
I'm 35 years old and I'm finding it hard to carry on now. I have no friends , don't socialise or talk to anyone. I live with my parents but rarely speak to them or any relatives. At work I'm either silent or if approached become loud or bolt away. The only girlfriend I've had was a girl who I dated three times (all bad) before sleeping with her after which she never spoke to me again. That was seven years ago. I am 6"3 and weigh 120 pounds and my skin and teeth have deteriorated along with my health. When I'm on my own I barely worry about anything but in the real world seeing normal people makes me feel crushed. People tend to avoid me now and I'm worried I may be losing my grip on reality.
I've just been forced to change jobs and now have to work with people which is killing me slowly.

I know there are people here who have been as low as I have - do you have any advise?

I think the first step is to open up, try talking to your parents about this. Also seek professional help, good luck bobcat1979

I used to live with my parents, too. I've moved out and gotten better since them, but I've never managed to sleep with a woman or have a girlfriend. My advice:

1. Move out into your own place. Don't keep living with your parents.
2. Get cognitive behavioral therapy, and possibly other kinds of therapy after that. And possibly see a psychiatrist and go on medication.
3. See a doctor about your skin, teeth, and other health problems.
