Love him.

I love The Byrds too, which a lot of people don't seem to understand, how one can like both. Eh.

He's okay. I saw him once in concert with Tom Petty and the Grateful Dead.

What I've heard I like. I don't have any of his stuff though.

Have a nice day,
Kelly :)

I WANT TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY BOB DYLAN'S MUSIC, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW!

He sounds drunk.
The music just seems to drone on and on and on...

I'm pretty sure you could hear music as good as this being played by someone on the street with a guitar. :(

Should I be paying more attention to the LYRICS?
Do I need to be high on drugs?

His music is brilliant. His voice is an acquired taste. Personally, I love it, but I tend to like non easy-listening vocalists (like Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Corgan, and Geddy Lee.)

I don't really have a "taste". That's the weird thing.
I can usually enjoy pretty much anythig, but Bob Dylan I just can't seem to :(

Could some of you guize post your favourite "songs" by him?
Maybe I just haven't listened to his best stuff.

Yes! But his early stuff is better, around the time he broke his neck and found Jesus he put out some really rotten stuff. Though he has picked up again in recent years.

I know he's a musician and an old one at that, but since I'm not at all familiar with any of his work I really have no opinion on him. I picked "No" from the limited choices given, even though "don't really care" would be more accurate.

Wow, I can't believe there are people who've never heard Bob Dylan...
Surely you guys are familiar with "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" or "All Along the Watchtower" or something.

Subterranean Homesick Blues, come on...

His voice is a bit of an acquired taste, I'll admit.

It depends on which Bob Album you listen to.

Check out the album Bob Dylan & The Band - Basement Tapes. Awesome album and other than Highway 65, the most accessible.

There's a couple of his songs/recordings I really like. Forever Young for one. He's got several versions of it,one I really like. I guess he's mostly known as a lyricist. For me I don't care how good lyrics are if the music is boring I'm not going to like it much.

this is the one I like...
