Either way, do you think it has contributed to your social anxiety? how?

I personally have a very small family...I do not know my father's side but my mother's side it's just my mom, stepfather, stepbrother, grandmother, aunt, uncle and 1 cousin. We are also spread out geographically and my brother and I have never been close due to a huge age difference...I have some grandparents on my stepfather's side but they never really accepted me as their grandchild plus I never see them. I thinkn this has negatively impacted me and my social anxiety. I rarely see my family. I always wished I had a larger family : /

There is precisely one biological relative with whom I am in contact. One.

This has been the case since I was nine.

It doesn't get much smaller than that, I guess.

I do not think this had much of an affect on my SA, but I could be wrong there.

Small as far as I know. On my mom's side I've got 1 aunt, 2 uncles, 1 cousin, 2 grandparents.. On my dad's side 1 aunt, 1 uncle, 3 cousins.
