I have a severe case of hypochondria. Every little thing that happens to me turns into a big deal. If my stomach makes some weird noise or if my foot feels numb then I sit around and google all the horrifying things that could be wrong with me. I'm literally driving myself and everyone around me insane. Does anyone experience this? How can you get better?? PLEASE HELP
(oh and I have tried not googling my symptoms, but the problem is after years of doing it I now know all the horrifying symptoms of diseases.)

Oh, I've done that! Now I try to only look at reputable health websites such as the ones run by our NHS in the UK.

I do the same thing, I have all these mystery conditions that doctors can't figure out. I'd have to pay extra to see specialists but even they might not be able to help me. So I'm stuck using the internet every time something weird happens with my body, trying to play detective.

Currently trying to figure out why my stomach is bloated. Changed my diet around to just basic stuff, no positive results.

In the last month or so I've suspected that I suffer from some seven different types of cancer.

At a certain point you just learn to shrug it off, even if the insanity is always there, lurking in your head.

I have that, but with mental disorders. For a while I was completely convinced I had narcissistic personality disorder. :roll

Just remember the simplest explanation is usually the right one.
