I've been fascinated with this case for a long time. I've read every book and watched many documentaries on the case. It's still fascinating after all these years.

Not really. It's got a certain fascination but TBH, I'd never actually heard of it until a couple of years ago. I've seen a couple of decent documentaries about it but you have my sympathies if you're obsessed with it. I suspect there will never be a definitive answer. Though personally I think the guy obviously died.
