I've noticed when I'm very tired (like if I've stayed up all night) I seem to be a lot less anxious and less worried about what other people think. In the morning I'm much more uptight. What is going on in the brain that causes this?

I think maybe it is because you no longer have the energy left to burn on being anxious, so your brain starts shutting that part of your nervous system down.

I think the relaxing feeling after a hard day's work has more to do with a release of endorphins from being proud of yourself though.

Its hard to find a median mix of meds, and work/sleep combination when your fears and moods swing up and down and back and forth.
