Hi everyone,

Somebody mentioned something about a "pink square" to me while referring to the movie "Office Space". Since I have never seen the movie, I have no idea what he was talking about :con - however, I'd love to know what he meant concerning that pink square.
Can anybody help? (No, I can't ask him.)

:thanks

Of course, it's a perennial classic~ Or it will be, I guess.

Jump to conclusions was the board game invented by the one guy -- that I remember. I take it "pink square" is referring to that? Seems kind of obscure to me. This pink square person is probably insane.

Thanks for your replies. :)

Hmm, that's weird ... :con
I guess I'll have to buy that movie - I already checked, but one cannot rent it anyplace where I live. :(

Yes the jump to conclusions mat was square, but there is no mention of a 'pink square' in the movie.

The guy who developed the jump to conclusions mat wasn't insane either. He just got a lot of money in a settlement and was allowed to persue his dream because money wasn't getting in the way.

Dude, I LOVE this movie. Love it.

"What would I do if I had a million dollars? Two chicks at the same time..."

"You've been missing a lot of work lately, Peter."
"I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob."

:lol

"I believe you have my stapler..."

:haha

Stephen Root is a legend. Anyone remember him as Jimmy James on NewsRadio?

"Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. " :lol

Another fan of Office Space here.

Its funny cos so many moments in the movie is how people that work in an office environment feel at one stage or another. i.e. stuck in traffic, those fkn dividers between cubicles, when the copier jams (oh god that kills me...), talk around the water cooler and so many other moments.

man thats so true or so many levels. in a big coorporate company its not what you know its who you know to move up. I rkn I only ever spent about 10% doing actual work, and 90% of the other time doing other "stuff". :)

I love the guy who keeps getting his desk (and his stapler) taken away, and there's the part where they are cutting a birthday cake for someone and everyone gets a piece except him and when he tries to take a piece he gets yelled at. Then he goes and sets the building on fire. Of all the characters in that movie he's the one I most relate to (expect for the setting places on fire part).

Great Movie! If you haven't seen it you should.
