Mine doesn't have anything to do with social anxiety. I think. I have a really stupid paranoia of being stalked by bears or running into one; no other wild animals ever on my mind even though I know there are coyotes where I live and have seen them. I'm pretty sure
Cape Breton has only black bears, which are usually pretty harmless, and sightings are rare. I live in the stix but I don't think there are any in the area. I'm not really afraid of bears so much, I think they're cute(when they're in cages anyways). I don't know how this developed but I even have dreams about being chased by them, which is apparently common with canadians. I always walk alone on the beach or near the woods and sometimes I get really anxious(might even grab a "weapon" to feel more secure). It doesn't stop me from going out alone but it stops me from walking as far as I used to. There's not much information I can find on it, but I think it's ridiculous and I don't understand why I have it. You guys have any funny, weird or unexplainable paranoia's?
