Full throttle, secret of monkey island, sam and max, well and pretty much everything lucas art. Snatchers for the sega cd is a classic. "Adventure" games are dead though helped along off by games such as the Police quest and Gabriel Knight series with ridiculous puzzles meant more to sell hint books than to actually contribute fun and logic.

I liked Gabriel Knight :( I even liked the FMV sequel because all the characters were played by soft porn actors (I think I was 15-16 at the time)... but I digress. You didn't like Gabriel Knight 1?? The New Orleans ambience? The voodoo subplot? That hot asian secretary? The music? :no No.. I bid you good day, sir.

I should have clarified and said the later entries of the series. They both started off well but look up the puzzles for gabriel knight 3 and tell me that isn't ridiculous.
