You have tolerance/withdrawal all confused.

Now if you took percocet and went through withdrawal, then if you take percocet again it will merely hit you harder.

Withdrawal occurs when someone has been taking a certain chemical daily for a period of time. The body adjusts to the presence of said drug by down regulating certain transmitters. This causes tolerance. When drug is removed after a period of long daily use, withdrawal is experience.

Eventually the body resets itself to normal levels (in most cases). This causes said drug to work just like it did before again.

I would agree with the rest having experienced both. Benzo withdrawal is way worse than opiate withdrawal.

Only speaking from experience here but at least when withdrawing from opiates I could still leave my house and somewhat function.
