I haven't used Paxil but I put on a fair bit of weight on Lexapro, plus I had pretty horrible withdrawal symptoms when I stopped it. I've read on other forums etc on the internet about all the weight gain caused by the different antidepressants - it seems to be pretty common, but then there are also some people that don't seem to put on any weight. The Lexapro made me feel very bloated and mainly put on weight around the tummy area. I was starving all the time and didn't even care ( at first ) that I was eating so much.
