As for feminists I agree with the most, they're anti-capitalists, but they separate themselves from the left because of men in it. Actually so do anarchist feminists, but not completely.
That philosopher I was mentioning thinks that all these issues are equally important. She also disagrees with Marxist feminism that thinks that eliminating class will completely eliminate sexism. I have the same intuitive opinion, but she knows much more about those things.
I don't have any resources to be a social activist or even to study and read a lot of it at the moment. I'm just sharing opinion and what I know on this site or whenever these topics come out in a conversation in general. That's all I do. I also don't have energy to talk to people who share these views because they have high moral standards for people within their group and I don't feel like I can meet them at all so far due to mental illness and a bad state I'm in which I hope to change. I was thinking about feminists because that's what I'm focused on, but it's true about other activists as well.
Hi! I'm just gonna be honest and say that I'm not a political activist and I have a lot to learn about things anti-capitalist. I do read anti-capitalists from time to time which I started to do because many feminist groups are also anti-capitalist. There's this brilliant philosopher (who's also a social activist) I was reading and she has opened my eyes on many things. I would share a link or the name, but apparently she doesn't write in English at all.
I would describe myself as in the moment. Wherever I'm at is where I'm at. I don't really bother with strict partisanship anymore. It's too confining and forces people to align themselves with things they disagree with just so they can have a group identity. I got tired of playing that game. I don't really have a problem with people latching onto whatever party they think is good for them but I think it's misguided and used to manipulate people into supporting things they normally wouldn't or lending their support for things they're not really passionate about.
This is why I don't vote. I can't support a party line agenda just for the sake of belonging to a party. I think it's good to believe in something but that's for people who still think it matters.
Hey, welcome back! I was doing a FL purge and realized I'd accidentally removed you (I was looking at people's last log-ins). I hope you don't mind accepting me again. Sorry about that
Yeah it's nice to bulk up the collection and change it up a bit. Different things I guess, like Civil Wars, The Magnetic North, Radical Face, and Young the Giant. What about you? What's new?
hey! I remember you saying you liked Phantogram too. Have you ever listened to 'Broods'? They kind of remind me of them, and they're really good. If you look up "Pretty Thing", "Mother and Father", or "Bridges" you might hear it
It's 9 inches and no, I will not marry you. I hope you got your answers.
PS: I disabled PM cause people I didn't know would occasionally message me and that made me uncomfortable.
PS2: I'll enable my PMs for you.
PS3: Your avatar is very cool.
Sounds like you've got it pretty much. I don't know what else anyone can do besides just watch in disbelief. It's like when you know something is going to be a disaster but you see it happen in front of you and you still can't believe how bad it really is.
I'm not a fan of orthodoxy just for the sake of orthodoxy. Things don't have to be rigid unless the compromise involved threatens my right to have my own opinion and live by it.
I bet it took you a lot of time to get a hand of that gif seeing as how you deleted your initial response lol.The reason why am leaving you a message here is its not the first time this has happened,i remember many times that i have gotten a notification about your deleted reply to me.I wonder why that is....
