Yeah, I thought that might be the case with the online dating tbh. I read that a lot. Maybe it's more for the hookups, idk.

Waitakere - I lived on a farm there back in the '90s. Nice and quiet - a bit too quiet for me at that time, though.

Camping in the bush is something I'd like to do when I find a place out west. That sounds really great. Haven't done camping since I was 19 but I do enjoy hiking a lot, absolutely.

Well, my fellow Kiwi friend, I might leave it there for now and it's been real nice chatting with you. Catch you another time and all the best with the Chch meetup. All the best with meeting a lady as well, and just general good vibes to you buddy. Thanks very much.🙂👋

Wow Hobson and Kingston Streets. Yeah that's right in the heart of the city all right - people watching, for sure. I remember when I used to like people-watching, but now they do my head in, ha. Me, I'm in Mt Eden, near the city and right by the mountain. I go up there a lot, it's like being in the country side - trees and hills, different birds, nice views. I've been here 11 years, but one goal I'm currently pursuing is to find a suitable place to live in West Auck, closer to the hiking trails, forest, and the good beaches. And if I can find that good place to live, in a better location, then I want to work on my digital art and see if I can make a few extra dollars that way - I don't have the motivation right now. Also, I want to eventually meet, probably online, a mentally ill lady, ha (they're the only one's who'll 'get' me) to be a companion (a miracle!!). Sick of being alone all the time really.

How's the online dating going, my friend? Must be interesting at the least.

Yes, good on you andy1984.👍And Chch, awesome. Would love to get to the South Island eventually. I want to see the Alps and some Kea's.😁I'm in Auckland near the city center. Always a park or little mountain to walk to if I'm up for it. I'm not working but try to put in some activity for exercise and just to see some nature - daily or every 2nd day. Other than that, it's internet and sleep, wow. But I have some goals I'm aiming towards. Gotta have something to keep me interested in the future.

Hey andy1984.👋 I just realized in your previous post, you said 'fellow' vegan kiwi. Which means...could it be true...you're my kindred spirit! Twin! 😍😂 And dude, I'm not diagnosed with AvPd but I have it. It's my 'default setting'. Awful. And a few years ago I had a psychotic episode which just magnified everything tenfold - permanently! (That was because I was using drugs. Not now.) But yeah I totally relate. Hey, all the best with the dating. I've had relationships in the (distant) past. The nicest, best times I've had thus far. And yes, I've had plenty of help with my issues and now I have a few coping tools, and meds, to get me through my days - that's it. Yeah, in terms of the help really making a difference, mindfulness helps me, but only a bit.

Anyway, hows your day been friend? Just reply or not reply, whenever you like. No pressure at all.🙏

Hey andy1984, thank you. 🙏'Vegan kiwi' - I like that, ha. Yeah, I'm going okay I guess, friend. Just a day at a time, as they say. I've been answering a few threads on here which has been good, and reading other peoples experiences. It's kind of nice, or validating, to know we all share a common struggle here. I don't often share my issues online, so my intuition is telling me it must be a good thing. Maybe it'll help my personal growth.🤔

How are you going? Are you managing okay, friend? Quite a bumpy path is this life at times.

It's all about finding the right balance. When I get too okay, I like to tone it down a notch with negative affirmations so I don't get too excited.

Um, cool. I mean, 60% isn't great, but it could be worse. Ever been 80% okay? I hear it's quite the rush.
