Started walking my dog

I have always been terrified of my parents seeing me interact with others or being in oublic by myself.

I told them i was going to start walking their dog. Its very hard to do but i sometimes see people and say hi. Unfortunately thats as far as i can go in the conversation.

I feel like they think im hitting on them or like they think im going to attack them if i talk too long

That's good. I want a dog so I can go out walking, not by myself.

Cool. It also is an excuse to talk to people. Like if they have a dog too.

Great, that's a fantastic start, maybe next time you could try asking a straight-forward question afterwards like "Are you alright"? >3
