Made 2 pretty big triumphs

During the last two weeks I finally found the courage to start seeing my therapist again (I haven't been to him in 3 years and I'm a strong believer in the fact that men shouldn't have to ask for help). I managed to get a lot off of my chest to him and am back on taking anti-anxiety pills (Paxil 10mg) for now.

My other triumph is that I joined this non-profit organization that holds fundraisers for the disabled and those less fortunate. It helps be part of something while at the same time volunteering and getting out of my comfort zone to make a difference. As monotonous as my life is I never imagined doing these things so while it may be trivial to some it's more out of the ballpark for myself.

I don't question the source of these voices
Their commands leave me with no choices
Who can deny a decree from the sky?
But a fool, I'm a dummy, but no fool am I

Congratulations man! Keep going! Let us know your future achievements (of which I'm sure there will be many)

May the wind be always at your back.

"Made 2 pretty big triumphs" I thought you had your boobs got done. I am not thinking clearly and need to watch less pornographic creations.

Good for you, helping others while helping yourself is a win-win in every situation and getting out of your comfort zone to do this is a major step most of us are afraid to do so. Your parents must(should, if not) be proud of you.

Good work.

I want to tell what I really think. But there are too many voices giving me very different opinions.

Congratulations, I wonder what else you'll surprise yourself by doing.

I imagine you feel that a man should be able to solve problems, seeking help is often the way to solve problems, congratulations on being a man.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I'm considering going to a night club this Friday which is another big step in my social endeavors. Like my therapist suggested, I'll set a goal to try and talk to people while I'm there.

"strong believer in the fact that men shouldn't have to ask for help"

I hope you work on that with your therapist cos that is definitely a huge spoke in your anxiety-fighting wheel.
