I'm here!
Yes, being here is a big step for me. I haven't run away yet. 
There's Facebook too! It's been a month and a half so far. Of course I only have three "friends", but it's a start!
It wasn't very long ago that I would have considered all of this social activity impossible. So far nothing bad has happened? And I was so certain something would have happened! lol
Of course I still don't know what the heck I'm doing....
Perhaps this is the start of something positive for me? I can only hope.

I was in the same boat. I had been a member here for two years (I think) but never posted due to my anxiety over it until a couple of months ago. It gets better and now it's not too anxiety-inducing. But I haven't posted in any other forums and haven't kept a facebook (I always make one and then delete it about 2 weeks later).
It's good that you're still here. I do think it is the start of something positive.

Congratulations! I know how many times I've tried joining forums and social networking, and just gave up. I'm really thinking it won't happen this time (on here), either
