Have you ever met anyone from SAS?

How did the meet-up turn out?

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

I met only one person with SAS. First meeting was very stressful but not tragic. We continued our freindship for about half year.

Yes, I've met two friends on here. We spent the day in the city and I had a good time hanging out with them and talking to them.

Nope, there are several reasons:

1. There's yet no one that have stated interest in meeting me.
2. I'm far from almost everyone around, most near I have seeing it's Brazil, which is still freaking far.
3. I'm the kind of person that takes lots of times to take a step, I mean LOTS of time. I need to feel secure that I'll be treated like a decent human, that I'm not meeting the type of person that at the end says "so I did all this to get nothing?","what a waste of time" and all that kind of comments.

I wouldn't mind to meet some people from SAS and actually I have thought that some users are cool enough to have a great time with, but, reasons 1 and 2 are there.

Don't seem to live near enough anyone I might like to meet.

If I don't reply to you, it's NOTHING PERSONAL. It's my ANXIETY.

Nope, for one thing I don't think anyone here lives near me. Even if they somehow did, it's another thing for someone to actually want to meet up with me... and for both of us to be okay with that. I'd also want to know the person really well and already talk to them face to face before meeting in person so it isn't super awkward lol.

Sort of but they didn't know who I was and I didn't really interact with them much at all. I almost met one other person but he came to my town while I was studying for mid-terms or maybe it was finals. So I didn't have the time to meet up.

I'm open to meeting people if they come to my town. Only regulars who I have something in common with though. I'm not interested in meeting some unknown poster.

I've probably met 50+ people who have SAS accounts over the years, mostly at SA meetups.

But people who I initially met through SAS and then later met in a non-group scenario... I can think of 4. Hopefully that number will grow.

Sadly, no. Though I hope to meet up with my friends here from SAS. In the area of travelling, it's quite easy and cheap actually. But in my current situation, impossible. But I'm not even sure if they want to meet up at all, but it'll stay a dream for me.

I've always wanted to meet someone from this site but I don't think there's anyone who's around my age and from my state on here.

Live for the progress that you've made.
