Got a part time job at Dunking Donuts

Starting next week. Not what I'm really looking for but it's money until I get something in my field.

And I get to put something else on my resume just in case I want to find another job like at Chipotle or something similar. Getting some XP. Leveling up lol.

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Congratulations. I applied to 9 Dunkin' Donuts and was turned down by all of them. I laughed when you also mentioned Chipotle because I applied to two of them and failed both. In Florida, both organizations frown on having white employees, but it was still a big let down for me. I still feel confident that I can put a donut in a bag, pour a cup of coffee and place rice in the middle of a tortilla.

I graduated with a computer engineering degree. So far only one interview and got another call for an Android developer position which I missed but will follow up next week so hopefully that will lead somewhere but i still want to make this DD work for the resume.

I bombed my Chipotle interview. I didn't really look up the history and all the other questions they asked. I felt like an idiot. I'm here to put food on a bowl not teach Chipotle history class. F*** you Chipotle. Still gonna eat there though lol.

Wasn't even expecting to get it. I just went with a no f***'s given attitude and I was told to start next week.

Just got through my second day. Mostly just making coffee. I handled it pretty well. I messed up once with a customer who wanted to get something extra so I did but i returned and was shaking a bit and spilled coffee all over my hand and she just gave me this weird look lmao but a coworker helped me.

Things I need to work on...

Not rushing too quick but it's my first day at the front so there were a lot of things I still need to get familiar.

Some customers I couldn't understand what they were saying. Had to say I'm sorry three times to someone lol.

I can't wait to work the cash register and improve my customer service skills even more lol. Serious.

**** the cash register especially when there's 100 people in line it makes me want to commit suicide just thinking about it🤢. But it sounds like you'll be fine...keep making that 💵 lol

Live for the progress that you've made.
