Dermatitis and Psoriasis

First of all, back to SAS after years of absence. Been dealing with skin health issues for 4 years now and Iím still struggling especially now through COVID-19 pandemic. Was wondering if anybody else is on the same boat.

Yes. I have seborrheic dermatitis. I use an ointment once a day, and a hair lotion once a week, and dandruff shampoo as well.

I think I have some version of sebborheic dermatitis. I also suffer from acne. I've been doing my best to maintain it, but my skin doesn't react to much. Haven't been to a doctor.

In case of seborrheic dermatitis, the skin reacts if you eat much fatty food, or drink much alcohol, or overexpose yourself in the sun. I just stopped drinking and changed my diet, because I can't avoid the sun where I live.

I get dermatitis on my hands and face. It's painful. The only thing that reliably helps is polysporin, which is medicated - no amount of Aveeno or Neutrogena will help.

I've never had it before but now I do for the first time in my life, on my hands. I've read it can be linked to coronavirus. Cool...

Sorry not sorry

I hardly drink at all. Fatty food and sun is in moderation. As I'm typing this, the back of my scalp is on fire. I imagine it's quite red. And I have been losing chunks of skin from it. Fun times. Scalp is getting oily, so I'm pretty sure that's why. I'll wash my hair tomorrow.

I know. That's annoying. I use Therapsor, it's a lotion. I don't know if it has another name where you live, though. I apply it on the scalp, eyebrows and beard before going to sleep, twice a week, or on alternate days, in case of much flaking. It really works for me.

My Mood: Stressed
I’ve been dealing with psoriasis for most of my life. I’ve been doing phototherapy- narrow band UVB - once or twice a week until COVID shut down non-emergency medical treatment. So I haven’t had treatment in 2 months I think and it’s gettin much worse. New patches popping up all over and I’m So So itchy all the time. I got a prescription for vitamin d salve, and I guess it might be helping a bit, but it’s also a pain to smear it all over myself 1 to 2 times a day.
Does anyone have any experience with dietary changes and psoriasis?

It'll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls, for the times they are a changing.
