Anxiety causing hot flashes and excessive sweat??

Anyone experience serious hot flashes and excessive sweat from anxiety?? Iíve been having a major problem with this for about 6 months. Thatís about when my anxiety got so extreme but I also started a new medication and canít figure out whatís the most likely cause.. Any ideas are much appreciated!

I used to sweat excessively from my armpits but only when out and about. As long as I stayed home, I didn't sweat. I went on Zoloft for anxiety and the sweating went away. Never had problems since.

Anxiety can cause excessive sweating from the armpits, groin area, upper lip, and the palms of the hands.

Yup. Medication didn't cause it for me, just my anxiety. I recommend Certain Dri's prescription strength deodorant to counteract any pit stains. They also have an even stronger "clinical" strength.

You can probably figure out how I know this but you really do not wanna sweat much after you eat tuna or sardines. Or if you do, you probably wanna take preemptive showers for days after.

Try to find ways of treating anxiety. The best way is to become an observer of your life, and find what irritates you, and what makes you happy. Go for happiness and kick out the boring stuff from your life.

Yes, I eat a lot of tuna and salmon and I have noticed a distinct odor after sweating on a hot day. Lol
