What did you learn about God online?

Hi,
This is a thread where you can talk about what you learned about God online if you don't go/like or have a church to go to or you go to church and watch online sermons too and others can learn from it too. Of course, we'd have to determine ourself if what we learned from others is correct or not

I've learned a lot about Creation and other Apologetics online, something they don't really go into in church.

The world is quiet here.

If I worship him I'm special & non believers are lowly maggots not fit to be in my presence.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I don't perceive non-believers as lowly but just as someone who somehow for some reason hasn't come to believe in God yet.

^^I didn't mean you, there are exceptions, but in general, people who practice religion give off the aura that they're better than non-religious, even though that kind of attitude usually goes against religion, but religion has always been full of hypocrites anyway.

I learned that God can heal in areas where secular doctors fall short. Church is a means of building that relationship.

Yeah....I had people like that at the bad church that led to my SA breakdown. There were people there who said they wouldn't go to a venue with fireworks because of the unsaved people. That boggled my mind.

I've learned from Joel and Victoria Osteen's writing/blog online and from Charles Stanley I went to his site again. I have known him for several years and I learned that from our trials/suffering/troubles we can be comforters, others who are going through the same thing as us can turn to us and we'd understand what they're going through, not to waste our suffering but bring it to God's glory.

Pain & suffering can increase faith & give people faith. Those who experience the cruelness of this world first-hand are often the first ones to turn to Jesus.

The world is quiet here.

The period of church history immediately following the time when the New Testament letters/books ended, namely the important people, what they believed, the evidence supporting they worked w/ the 12 Disciples.

How the 'baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit' affirms the Trinity.

The world is quiet here.
