Kanye's music

So that mega church owned by Joel Osteen hosted Kanye at the weekend. I am not sure why Kanye would go there but he did.

The full video of the event is on youtube. The first comment in the comment section gives you time stamps.

I was surprise by Kanye's reinterpretation of Say my name by Destiny's Child (gospel version).

Have a listen. I would be interested in hearing your views on the music and the event in general etc.

Joel Osteen is one of the biggest prosperity preachers out there, preaches a false gospel. Still rooting for Kanye though, seems legit....praying for Osteen too.

I watched the whole video. Wow that looked like fun. Surprised that he used songs like Fade and made them into a spiritual version. Would definitely go to Kanye's church if he visited nearby.

Hahahaha

Joel Osteen is a dirtbag/ strange kind of Christian. I don't know why Kanye accepted his invite but that event looked great.

Did you watch the Nebuchadnezzar opera today? It was streaming but there was only a sample to watch before they made you sign up. From what I saw it looked nice. Kayne didn't show himself apparently, he was narrating behind the scenes.

I love his gospel choir and I love his reinterpretation of popular songs. One of my favorites when Sia sang at his Sunday service back in May:

I truelly hope more rappers will follow in his footsteps and proclaim the gospel out loud. These are the times we have to stand for God and share the gospel more than ever before. Christ can return any day. No time to waste your talents or duty to preach.
