Dog; definitely dog.

I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.

Human, though they are way more inconsistent. Get a good human have great company, get a lousy one and its way worse than no company. Cats are great, solid consistent choice, and dogs are meh.

Enough about me, lets talk about you, what do you think about me?

With cats you have to earn their love. Some people don't understand why cats generally don't like them. It's because the cat judges them as unlikable, end of story.

You always find that dog lovers secretly crave the attention of cats, but the old fox and the grapes thing kicks in, because they can't get the love of cats they pretend (to themselves) they never liked them anyway and instead settle for the much easier to acquire love of dogs.

"dogs are much better, their love is much stronger" (looks wistfully at nice plump cat sitting purring on Bob's lap).

Enough about me, lets talk about you, what do you think about me?

I'd do a terrible job at looking after any of them.

I think it sort of depends on what we're doing. And cats are bossy, dogs are needy, and people are both.

Cats. I like both male and female cats. I prefer mature, lazy, plump cats. Not into kittens.

Humans can be fun but they are rather noisy. I'm a light sleeper and get easily irritated by noise. I like how cats are quiet 99% of the time. I enjoy both male and female human company.

I do not have a lot of experience with dogs. When I stayed at various people's houses I did enjoy the resident dog 80% of the time. There was one female weiner dog (Lily) in particular which was really sweet. It's nice how they will follow you around but they sure do smell bad. The little ones are cute. Big ones are rather ugly and very stinky.

I remember when I was a kid I just accepted that the smell was just what dogs smell like. I once told my grandmother I like the way my hands smell after petting dogs. She just looked at me like "WTF?".
