Yes I always tell this story cause it traumatized me lol

I remember feeling nauseous and it was just getting worse. I got it on the day we were gonna do our 7 hr drive back home. It turned into an 8 hr drive. The car movement just made it worse. I threw up once every hour.

No, and the prospect of it terrorizes me. Even mild nausea knocks me off my feet - Whenever I've needed to vomit it just felt like hell on earth.

I hate vomiting. It got to the point where there was nothing left in me, but my body still wanted to. It was extremely rough

That sounds like it sucks.

I've been nauseous before but not from having food poisoning. I remember having to puke on the way to church so my mother had to pull the car over.

If I had nausea/vomiting/dryheaving and had to go on a 7 hour car ride, I'd just ask to be abandoned and catch up with them later... there is absolutely no way I would have gotten into the car in that state.

It's hard to say. But since most people seem to talk about vomiting when they talk about food poisoning, maybe not. I haven't vomited since ~2003 (And I drank too much was the reason). Before that, I probably hadn't vomited more than once or twice since I was a kid.

I have had the runs pretty often but I think that's just how my gut is. Sometimes it just goes haywire.

I'm gonna say possibly. But not that I know of for sure.

Yeah I was nauseous, but I wasn't expecting it to get that bad. I never had food poisoning before. It was after I had been in the car for an hour or 2 that it reached peak levels. Maybe if it had happened before we would have postponed the ride back home. But by then I just wanted to get home asap

Yes a couple years back I had met up with a friend after work for a coffee and I got a turkey bacon club, that night I was terribly sick, it was absolutely horrible. I've never bought one of those sandwiches again.

Yeah. Burger King burger about 18 years ago. Ngl, I thought I was going to die. One of the most painful things I've ever experienced.

Is it just me or is it getting crazier out there.

Yeah, multiple times. Apparently, I'll eat just about anything. The worst wasn't food but some homemade wine that a neighborhood kid's parent had made. I was probably 15-16 at the time and ended up throwing up continuously for most of the night. The most recent was probably a tuna salad from one of the full service food/gas/rest stop convenience stores sometime at the beginning of the year.

Yes, I was in Modesto California on vacation and purchased food and a drink from a convenience store. It did not take long before I started to feel horribly sick, I stayed in the bathroom laying on the floor for the majority of the day due to having to vomit frequently and uncontrollably. It was a horrible ordeal, and one I hope I will never have to repeat.

It happened several times when I was in Bolivia. Most of the time it was just extremely watery diarrhea with stomach pains for a day or two. Then I'd get random gut pains off and on for weeks afterwards. Let me tell you, don't eat strawberries in Bolivia. Rinsing in water is not enough. Also if the street vendor asks if you want lettuce on your burger, say no. Lettuce is bad. Also got giardiasis which is an amoeba, so you take anti-amoeba medicine for it. But when the amoebas are dying, OMG, they let off so much rotten egg gas. I was feeling better and wanted to go to my favorite restaurant. Eating out in Bolivia is so cheap, like $3 for a decent meal with beverages, I'm talking non-fast food. But yeah, my farts were so deadly that I had to just get take-out. Otherwise I would have bombed out the whole restaurant.

Only happened maybe once or twice in the US and Japan and the diarrhea wasn't nearly as bad as it was in Bolivia.

I have vomited many, many times but 99.9% of the time it is due to alcohol. So I guess that is a type of food poisoning. I only got food poisoning once in Brazil and that was one of the few times where it was coming out both ends. Back and forth, back and forth between hugging the throne to puke up my guts and sitting on the throne to let it all out the other end. Still not sure what was the cause. Either seafood restaurant or Minas fresh cheese.

From moldy bread twice (felt fine after forcing myself to throw up) and leftover turkey once from what I can remember.

Possibly twice but one time might have been a reaction to alcohol that lasted a long time. The second time was definitely food poisoning and that was near the beginning of 2019 I think from take away food. The second time wasn't that bad but lasted about a week.

Yeah I left food out for about 10 hours, looked at it when I was hungry again and thought it'd be okay if I just reheated it.

It was not okay.

not sure if it counts, but had traveler's diarrhea and my stomach bloated. Very uncomfortable.

Maybe 3 years ago, my company had tomato veal for lunch. After 1/2 hour, I felt ill, felt like puking but never did.
