flush and walk away or stay and watch

do you flush and walk away without checking that the toilet functioned properly?

Something about watching my poop being flush away and seeing the pure white crystal clear water in the toilet bow afterwards, with the water still swirling and the gentle currents of the toilet bowl water rippling; it gives me a very odd fulfilling and calming satisfaction.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

same as

getting groceries

pay

go

never attention to receipt

only at home see what's missing or overpaid... either auto scan getting stuff not wanted or too much to often notice unscanned unpaid..

mistakes being beneficial or wrong items. too much getting cinnamon by mistake, needing coriander! box of green tea wanted - seeing horrible mainstream black standard. return, refund process horrible, another journey.

usually back to swap item on shelf. bring receipt but can do without.

floating poo

often brimful tragedy! what comes out guts too much for pan to cope. wasting water too many times not fitting thru swaneck!

Another toilet thread - good stuff.

After using potty protection papers to muffle the tinkle and splash, as well as to prevent tropical diseases on my naughty bits and bum, I flush the toilet.

I make sure that the refuse is officially handled in the bowl and that the water is flowing freely. Any skid marks would also be removed with the water flow from the internal porcelain surface.

....and that's just at work!

I kind of do a mix of all the above. Recently I forgot the flush the toilet at work and my coworker noticed. He called me a nasty ****** and told me the flush the toilet. I felt embarrassed because the other stall was broken and someone took a massive beef stew crap in it that'd been sitting there for like a week. It wasn't me! But you know, that guy probably put two and two together. "Oh so this is the guy."

One of the worst things about my apartment building is that it's a pretty old complex from like the '70s and the pipes are understandably not what they used to be anymore. So when I flush, check the water (it's all good) and then go about my day like normal sometimes I come back and see remnants/chunks from my previous visit inside the toilet

I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.

I always close the lid before flushing so there's nothing to see anyway. Flushing with the lid open causes fecal bacteria to swirl back up into the air contaminating everything near it including your toothbrush and hand towel, a phenomenon known as toilet plume. That's the same reason I refuse to use hot air dryers in public restrooms, because they basically draw in fecal bacteria from the air and blow it all over your clean hands. And, most public toilets are lidless which makes things even worse. Yes, I'm a germaphobe.

I can tell by the sound if it flushed properly anyway. Its not that often that I leave a massive pipe choker that needs an extra boost from the plunger.

Mostly stay & watch, but I've seen some nasty things in public toilets, people are animals at heart, at an old workplace they had 4 cubicles & the sewers were blocked & everyone kept pooping till the bowls were completely full then they hooked a machine outside to unblock it but they set it to blow instead of suck & it blew all the crap out of the bowls onto the ceiling ....I once went into a cubicle in a hotel at my cousin's wedding & someone had splattered the entire inside with explosive diarrhea I guess .....

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I know the software engineers enjoys watching the citizens flush the toilet and forgetting to flush the toilet in their little observatory channel room. Especially when it comes to New York libraries, how the Supercomputers gets involved making a white guy pee with his buttocks showing in a crowded small bathroom in the men's stall, and Doo Doo mud steps printed all over the bathroom like someone secretly committed murder on the scenes.

When someone throws down in the library social man bathroom, the security guards would be an entourage for the person, while one person playing a music in the background saying "all the way up" as the security guards escort the person out the library door. I'm sitting down saying that this is my first time at a MGM Grand boxing match that the Supercomputers put together.

It always bothered me that bathrooms are designed with the toilet right next to where you bathe. Who decided that??

I was jealous of my friend's house in high school because she had a room with just the toilet, then outside of that was 2 sinks, and the shower/bath in the next section. It was all nicely divided up. I imagine more convenient, especially in a shared home.
Anyway to answer the thread, I wait. I live in an old house with low-flow toilets (the worst) so you pretty much have to make sure it took on the first try
