Out of the ones listed, Die Hard by a wide margin.

Not listed - Christmas Vacation. Nothing else comes close for me.

Squirrel!!

Yeah Christmas Vacation was the one we always watched during Christmas. Home Alone is great also.

☆ Christmas Vacation
☆ The Santa Clause
☆ Home Alone
☆ The Christmas Box.

Christmas Vacation (and the other Vacation movies) is always on TV on Christmas Day, and we watch it every year.

I didn't know the ones in the poll were Christmas movies, but the only one I've seen was Gremlins.

The Santa Clause is my family's traditional Christmas movie. We watch it every year. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. It's still a good movie, though.

It is the light she longs to find,
When she delights in learning more.
Her world is learning; it defines
The destiny she’s reaching for

Die Hard is a Christmas movie in the sense that the story is happening around Christmas Time but it's not really anything like the more lighthearted ones.

Die Hard has the dubious honor of being the first movie I bought on VHS way back when it was actually a new movie and VHS was what you got if you wanted to watch movies at home.

I like "A Christmas Story", "Miracle on 34th Street", and "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Also "Scrooged".

...odd that the poll choices don't have much to do with Christmas. Is this the popular youth trend?

Huh I guess Edward Scissorhands is a Christmas movie. It's not really a favourite, I've only seen it once I think, (I like the character more than the film, Tim Burton films tend to have cheesy plots with some decent characters,) but I guess I'll go with that. Nightmare Before Christmas is OK too.

Home made flamethrower is my favourite Christmas movie:

But more seriously I haven't watched any classic ones since childhood I don't think, or it's been a long while anyway so can't really say when it comes to those.

The wretched world we’re living in at present was not an unlucky war of fate; it was an economic and political decision made without consulting the enormous human population that it would most drastically affect. If we would have it otherwise, if we’d prefer a future that we can call home, then we must stop supporting — even passively — this ravenous, insatiable conservative agenda before it devours us with our kids as a dessert. - Alan Moore

Out of the list I'd say

1. Die hard
2. Edward scissorhands
3. Gremlins

But for an actual Christmassy story I'd say "A Christmas carol" told in a more dark kind of way, not so fond of the muppet version for example.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Not really a fan of Christmas, but probably A Christmas Story (he looks like a pink nightmare), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (we're a couple of misfits), and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (I must stop Christmas from coming). (Man, does that ever make me feel old.)

I don't really think of any of the poll options as Christmas movies.

The best things in life are free, but so are the worst things. And you need money to avoid those.

On that list I've only seen Edward scissorhands. I think my favorites would have to be Home Alone, Santa Clause and the Christmas vacation.

I don't have a favorite movie but I like to watch anything relating to A Christmas Carol. As a kid I loved watching the Smurfs and Charlie Brown XMas specials.
