All the women I know love birthdays, and the guys don't really care. I guess it depends on who you know.

Most people view me as a happy person, giving people hope and light. Sadly those times are gone....more like me being happy. If only people knew but they will not know. All I have is my little ounce of inner strength to help a person when they are sad an down. Truly there is no help for the comforter.

Apparently diabetes has been removed from the 'high risk' category for Coronavirus. Which means my dad has been told he can go back to work (he was given two weeks off on Tuesday). He works in a supermarket. Where two days ago a woman with a fever coughed so hard she threw up, while her mother stood by laughing. But apparently he can come back in and work while the shop is closed. His job is in no way essential (he doesn't stock food). F**k you, Asda.

We did a telehealth visit with my dad and his doctor. She wrote him a note to take time off work even tho according to her he's not at "high risk" but she was willing to do it. My dad emailed the letter to his boss and they allowed him to take off work. He works part time, not full time. Shouldn't it be up to the employee?

I'm hoping it's up to the employee. My dad's said he doesn't feel it's a good idea to go back in (we had to convince him of that ofc) and his boss has accepted it. Which is something. Just have to hope all this blows over soon.

Loneliness,
It is as if,
Everyone is dead,
For there is nothing being said,
To me.

I can understand feeling that way about people who mistreat you. 99% people in this world, you or I don't even know!

I want to know how he's doing but I don't want to break no contact

We've last talked January 27th. So it's been 2 months. However with Covid I just hope everything's okay. And that he and his family are safe. I feel like a bad person for not reaching out.

Part of my thinks I probably don't cross his mind. But maybe he is as worried as I am. Heh, doubtful

I'm frustrated with my lack of relationship quality. I don't know what is wrong with me and everybody.

A lack of palatable, affordable food.

Most of my meals before the quarantine were from restaurants and now they've pulled out of the market, aren't opening for delivery (which is still allowed), or jacked up their prices for delivery (understandable).

Me and partner aren't big cooks so looks like it'll be ramen and frozen pizzas till June.

I'm getting really annoyed with people lately. I'm on a local Facebook group for Coronavirus news and there's so much talk about people's mental health and how it's so anxiety-provoking being on lockdown etc. And I'm like... welcome to my life. Every day. For 20 years. If I was optimistic I'd think this might make people more empathetic towards us but honestly I think they'll just say 'OMG I know what you mean, but then I took a bath and I was fine again'.
