Perfectionism will be the death of me

Today I somehow hit the curb while reverse parking and didn't get into the space straight. I've done this a million times perfectly and then I mess up randomly like this. What in the actual ****? Then to make things worse, I was making lousy turns and hard stops while driving home.

The whole thing made me so angry that I destroyed a chair when I got home. I feel bad for the chair. It had a painful death. Not sure how I'm going to lie my way out of this one. RIP chair. My condolences to the family.

Perfectionism is a *****.
It's insanely hard to shake.
Seeing as you're able to take it out externally, I suggest you get a punching bag. Or something that it's ok to destroy.

If perfectionism is a constant problem for you, try to see why you're perfectionistic. See what fuels it. Stuff like that. Write it down.
I have a program somewhere if I can find the link again.

Embrace the glorious mess that you are

Heh... a smile was had

Mmm... Perfectionism, yeah. I don't think I've ever destroyed furniture over it, but it's definitely a major issue for me.

"I sat on it, and it just broke."
"I found it like this."
"What chair?"
"It's been like that for a while."
"I used it to kill a big spider."
"My schoolbag was really heavy."
"It was time for a new set of furniture."
"I needed the firewood."
