Re: I'm probably dying of cancer

Excuse my confusion, but are you just saying that sarcastically, like that's probably one more problem you have and don't know? Or do you really have a reason to believe you might have cancer? I hope it's the former.

I wish we could trade places. At this point in my life I am hoping for cancer.

Well best of luck.

You should never say that! It could really happen someday and then you'd be wishing you'd never said that. That's like some woman my mom knows who's severely depressed & says she'd rather have cancer than depression. I want to smack her in the skull for even saying that. Depressions sucks and I have that too, but at least you can live/deal with it. I'd take depression any day over cancer. Cancer just equals MORE depression.

Yes, I had abnormal test results earlier on in the year and they're still there, apparently have a good chance of being cancerous, or something bad that's not supposed to be there anyway.

Re: I'm probably dying of cancer

Cancer does not automatically mean that you're dying. Before my grandfather passed away a few years ago, he successfully fought lung and brain cancer when he was told he had no hope.

If detected early enough, cancer is very treatable.

Re: I'm probably dying of cancer

I'm really sorry to hear that. But try to stay positive - you don't know what it is yet and even if it turns out to be cancer, it isn't the death sentence it used to be. I have a lot of relatives who've had cancerous cells or tumors removed and they all fully recovered amazingly fast.

Re: I'm probably dying of cancer

I hope everything turns out okay. My mother just got done with her chemotherapy a few months ago. She's good and healthy now, so even if you do have it, you'll end up fine. I know how scary it is, I had a close call once too. I'll keep you in my thoughts
