I知 getting old

It痴 sad to know that I値l be getting old with no goals reached and nothing to show for it. All my hopes and dreams seem further away. I was never meant to do anything important with my life.

You're not old. You're barely out of your teens, but don't use it as an excuse/justification to not make every day count.

Better invest in a sturdy cane and life alert in case you've fallen and can't get up.

Well Im 42 and I would love to be 23 again. Your just starting out in life and you have many opportunites to look forward to. Career goals, Finding a partner, friends , family and travel.

Set some small goals in each area. Then work to improve in each area

Maybe not so much in 2020. Unless your ambition was to be the world's leading mortician.

But I just eat, sleep, spend all my time in my room, and still a virgin.
I just spend the time browsing the internet.
I feel bad about entering the 30s like this.

What is stopping you from doing other things? Fear?

It's a dangerous feeling to have when you're 23. I know. I had it then and I'm 64 now and feel the same. You have a relatively brief past. Don't wait for it to rise like an insurmountable goo that gets all over your shoes until, finally, it's up to the top of your neck. Get specific. Commit to FINISHING a chosen path no matter where it leads. Just finish it. Tell someone about it too.

...you gotta keep the goal in mind, develop tunnel vision to a certain extent. it's hard, and it's not for everyone.

I understand what your going through. But avoiding things only makes it worse. You have to face your fears to reduce them. It takes courage and not easy to do but that is how you get better. Then once you accomplish this it will give you confidence.

So break down what you are trying to do into small steps. That will help you get started.

Keep your head up! It's easy to feel like you're going nowhere in your early twenties, a time when you and your peers are venturing out into the real world. You may not be where you want to be right now, and that's fine! Don't compare your present self to where you want to be or where your peers are at. That's discouraging and fosters negative thinking. Take small steps to get the ball rolling and work towards your goals. You've got your whole life ahead of you! You're only 23.

Best,
Someone who was miserably unemployed at 23 and now works for their dream company

Should've had children and maybe one grandchild by now while inching closer to gracefully expire by the age of thirty at best.

...If we were living in the 1300's.

Seriously... You're physically and mentally at your prime and even the minutious things can change quite a bit within a year or two. Never too late to start small or new and your best chance at it is now. Take advantage of it.
