I love rain as well. It's one of the best natural background noises.
So calming. If I can't watch it, I try to open up a window and fall asleep to it. It honestly helps me get by.
Same, it's chilly and and the sky is grey right now, i hope it rains
Did it? Hope you got what you wished for.
Watching planes fly.
Wish I was on one of emmmm
I send my love and respect to all those in the struggle
Watching planes fly. Ahh yes. There is definitely a freeing element to watching something temporarily not be bound to this hellacious ground that we average folks are attached to. Up there, you can truly appreciate the magnificence of being unrestricted to an extent.
Obviously there are air travel regulations but you get the point of my statement.
Hail. I love gusty wind, form experience of sailing dinghies and yachts
Grabbing ropes to master its power
I would personally love to experience travel on the seas. Controlling your lifeline directly by physical exertion is appealing and seems to be a great way to relieve stress.
Hail, gusty gale force winds winds. So beautiful.

Sometimes, i would run out to the patio, and stand there under the portelle contentedly when it rains.
Sometimes, i will clap my hands and giggle like a happy child. The thunder and lightning is an absolute bonus.
Over the years, i think my SO understands me.
When it rains, he turns off the t.v., turns down the lights looks at me with a smile and says: "Hey Babe, it's your favorite weather."
Believe me, sometimes I too laugh uncontrollably when it starts to rain. I can't help but be taken aback by it. The smell, the shine it gives the pavement, the sound, the rain itself; extremely magnificent to me.
it's great but I can't stand the after weather, like the sky is still covered by clouds but they're white and the sun just makes them incredibly bright. Especially in an urban area where it just makes all the gravel and buildings look really high contrast and depressing. I love the grey rainy part though, which is good because I live in the UK
Understandable. In certain aspects I agree with you like when the Sun "comes out" right after the rain. But if there is still a little bit of grey cloud cover and the Sun peaks out, it can create a great atmospheric presence.
I wish that I lived in a place that was cloudy all of the time.
