Feeling I will never be successful in life?

I have good grades in high school, last year I was perhaps the best student in terms of grades in my class. But I don't excel at anything. There are those who are better in maths or english or sports or something else. The closest I came was a writing competition, but I didn't get into 'country competition' because of 1 point. I also don't have friends and I'm not good at programming which I'm interested in. I suck at social situations. I feel like others will be more successful even if they have worse grades, because at least they have connections and people that will get them in certian positions, while I'm all alone, ready to be manipilated by others.

Thére will always be people greater or lesser in this world.

It is setting your own goals and ächeiving them is where you are succesful.

May look at others for tips on achieving your goals, but you have your own life goals.

Connections you can make yourself, just have to visit businesses, etc and make those connections (network).

With english your strength could be teaching or similar.

Would need to find your niche (look on internet, many how to's), where you find your strengths, talents.

Then match education to those strengths, talents.

Then create a CV with those strengths, talents.

Then match CV to job position specs.

Sometimes find that are a generalist (good at many things) than a specialist (good at one thing).

Usually generalist's work in small businesses vs a specialist in big business.

Zera.

You're interested in coding, then do coding. You can learn it. Start with the easiest language.

Which is autohotkey, but it's not a "real language" lmao, except you can make apps in it

Well I'm not complete beginner when it comes to coding, I know some c++, javascript, php and C#. I made some silly games with c++ and sfml and some with Unity, but it's nothing I could make money from or even get anyone's attention.

Ok so you don't feel like you can grok it, I know how that feels, I'm pretty bad at coding.

excuse my constant posting of Tao te ching lol

Success is as dangerous as failure.
Hope is as hollow as fear.

What does it mean that success is a dangerous as failure?
Whether you go up the ladder or down it,
your position is shaky.
When you stand with your two feet on the ground,
you will always keep your balance.

What does it mean that hope is as hollow as fear?
Hope and fear are both phantoms
that arise from thinking of the self.
When we don't see the self as self,
what do we have to fear?

See the world as your self.
Have faith in the way things are.
Love the world as your self;
then you can care for all things.

You’re still young. You’d be surprised at how much things can change from high school to real adult life. Things are always changing. Most of the people who aren’t too smart or popular in school end up being really stable and successful later on in life.

I've been seeking happiness for years.
I've lived in hiding from the darkness.
I've spent so many hours in question.
I've prayed that God finds me soon.
Only to realize I must find myself.

Hey

Out of the billions of people on this planet, you are the one person who can always have confidence in yourself. Even if everyone else had confidence in you, it wouldn't matter if you didn't believe in yourself. Believe that you can be successful, and you give yourself something to aim for. You give yourself the motivation to work hard. You give yourself a chance of achieving that goal!

But also, what do you count as successful? An accountant on a six-figure salary might not consider themselves successful if they don't own 2 properties, or if they aren't married, or if they haven't met X person. It depends on what you consider success as well!x

Much love <3
