Why/why not?

no, the world is the world. it is physical brute fact which needn't conform to ideology. ideology is modelled on the world, not the other way around.

I'm always thinking to myself I hate this and that though.

your threads are getting darker. are you ok?

I was inspired by your thread that got deleted asking about how bad pedos are.

I'm never OK, but I like discussing 'edgy' ****.

I would have posted it in general discussion but people's responses might be too heavy.

There are some things that are good in this world. There are certain things that bring me happiness but for the most part, the world is evil. I’m not going to preach, but there are commandments that are written for humankind and it is human nature to defy those commandments. Everyone isn’t a sinner and everyone naturally thirsts for the things they aren’t supposed to have. God has given us a choice but he has no choice but to leave us to our own devices. We fail at being the perfect, clean people that Jesus was. So it’s true, that for me and for you... the world is a ghetto.

I've been seeking happiness for years.
I've lived in hiding from the darkness.
I've spent so many hours in question.
I've prayed that God finds me soon.
Only to realize I must find myself.

Nah. I just hate that there's no place for me in it. :/

If I don't reply to you, it's NOTHING PERSONAL. It's my ANXIETY.

Not at all - I like most of it. Some amazing places out there to see.

I'd like to be a bit braver (or more stable) so I can go and see more of it.

Yes, I do hate this world. Probably because I hate myself.

At some point, you have to realise that some people can stay in your heart but not in your life ...

I hate the humanistic system. I hate what Satan promotes.....the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life.

Not even a little bit. It would take me too long to say why--the number of things I love about the world is endless but I suppose the central reason is, in kind of a narcissistic way, I believe all my problems stem from me.

No, not at all. There's a lot of beauty here, a lot of wonderful experiences to be had, life to be lived. So much good. Even a deep breath and a good stretch in the sun sometimes makes it all worth it for me. Cats, dogs, whales, a deep belly laugh, baby videos on youtube, connecting with another, nature, so mich more. This world /life is really wonderful to me.

I do, at times, feel immense frustration and sadness at how difficult it is for pple to communicate or simply not hurt one another. How difficult it is to get systems into place so pple aren't suffering and struggling as a way of life. How careless we are with our home planet as a whole.

There's so much that can frustrate, but also so much to marvel at and deeply appreciate. I think learning to accept and cope with the dual nature of everything is a huge part of learning to enjoy life. It can be easy to get stuck on just what's going wrong, but I really try (to varying degrees of success lol) to keep myself focused on the larger, more balanced perspective.

On enhanced mobile I don't receive notifications besides pms. Apologies if I don't respond.

Know your ACE (adverse childhood experiences) score?
Sometimes, SA is a symptom of significant developmental, attachment or interpersonal trauma (emotional neglect counts). If you're still stuck after you've tried SA treatments such as CBT and exposure, research C-PTSD and see if it resonates. Here's an awesome resource. Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving

No, but I do hate the dynamic of it. Killing life to sustain life, etc. It's cruel.

Never could learn to drink that blood
And call it wine,
Never could learn to hold you, love,
And call you mine.

To elaborate, I'm sure there are good things out in the world, but there are also a lot of bad things that exist as well. I'd rather not have to deal with any of it.

She has her goods and bads. The main issue for me is not being able to connect with others and really embrace them. I try to focus on the beauty even if I can't be much a part of it other than by being dissolved in thoughts of it. Otherwise I become miserable.

The world no, humanity as a whole, to a degree, without us the world could be the beautiful, in balance paradise it once was, with us it's slowly becoming an open sewer, but that's not to say this makes us inherantly bad or anything less, the life force itself that drives us & everything else is a powerful, unfeeling, relentless force of nature, endless recycle of nutrients & cells & they'll always be a food chain, it's just our cross to bear this time to be on top, that we can empathise with our situation, is what makes us unique I think, any other species in our position would probably be causing the same upset, our insatiable ego like's to put ourselves's on a pedestal of culture & intelligence, but as a whole it's a difficult blow for some to accept we behave in a similar way to culture's on a petri dish : /

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
- Macbeth

Yes because it could be so much better and peaceful than it is.

But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now
mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater.”
