Do you hate the rain?

Hey guys so it seems like every time the weather is gloomy all I do is lay in bed and cry. That's strange because I used to love the rain as a kid. It meant that I could drink hot chocolate and feel warm and cozy. Now it just makes me feel awful. Any thoughts?

Rainy weather once in a while isn't too bad. Rainy weather every day for weeks sucks.

As an adult, I hate the rain because if it lasts for more than a few hours, I'll end up having to walk or drive in it. And sometimes the low pressure gives me a headache.

Her world is learning; it defines
The destiny she’s reaching for

No. I like it! How can anybody hate it?

Nope. I love it.

I love it so much, that I made a thread about it 4 years ago.

We haven't lived in anything remotely close to "real" since the turn of the century.

Love it. It's calming. And anything that keeps the neighbor kids indoors is great.

Cold rain does get annoying after weeks because it's uncomfortable to walk in. Warm rain, if I ever got any, would be perfect.

It's nice if you can stay inside during it. Not so fun if you have get somewhere and it's pouring down. I guess people who drive don't experience the weather as much as those who walk/bike/take public transit.

Rain for weeks on end gets old real fast. Probably people in dry climates appreciate the rain.

Depends, I love a cold wet night if I have nowhere to go, it makes being inside seem cosier, especially if you have nowhere to go the next day & can sit by a fire or be sipping on some whiskey, having to be out in it in day time is not so great, in winter you expect it but if it lasts for weeks on end in summer it is majorly depressing.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I like the rain, especially at night to fall asleep to. Having the yard and driveway get all muddy sucks though. Then get mud all over my shoes and vehicle interiors.

I can't play fetch with my dog when it rains, which means I need to try to entertain him indoors, which is a challenge.

Nobody loves me but my dog, and I think he might be jivin', too.

I was just looking for a thread to post about rain!

I got back from vacation early May, and I feel like it's been raining ever since! I like rain, but a whole month is too much!

The world is quiet here.

I love it but I don’t live in a place with persistent downpours, it’s raining as I type this
