can you relate

not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in but i wanted to get this off my chest
just talking to myself, sort of

i fear everything i've been feeling is in my head
which i guess it is
scared that i'm actually fine and i'm only pretending to not be okay
which doesn't make a lot of sense
like i could easily jump back in if i would just try
but i am trying and it's not easy

i'm going to start seeing a therapist next month so
hopefully, that will help

Oh, it's never easy. But it's good that you're trying.

1. The same would then apply to anything negative you experience...

2. It being psychological does not mean it's any less.

There's a reason psychology expanded beyond behaviorism, you know...

By what basis/standard are you so factually forming this conclusion? All our emotional suffering clearly stems not from the realization of our problems but from the emotional response/reaction to the realization of our problems. All i'm saying is that we are lying to ourselves when we dont feel upset from problems because that means we are deviating from our evolutionary instinct/programming.

And how is that? How you react to 'problems' affects your ability to solve it heavily. And how much you react to it.
I actually just recently had to memorize a report on a study that analyzed the relation of emotional vs problem solving dwelling of a problem to exhaustion.

You can probably guess, that the ones who weren't 'getting upset' were less exhausted.

How is it our evolutionary programming to 'get upset'?
And why would it be any better to follow an ineffective (non-adaptive) way to react, even if it was so.

We have to know our self better to hold knowledgeable preferences about are own characteristics, better than a professional who borrowed an idea from a dictated source to relate a characteristic that someone else described that's not within this existence.
