Losing weight and getting in shape.

Current weight is about 200-something pounds. Goal weight is 180 pounds. Eat too much crap, never exercise.

So far the only thing I've managed to do healthy is drink mostly water for the last week.

If anyone has any suggestions to help me along my 'journey', I'm all ears. I usually start these routines, but then never stick to them.

It's really easy, trust me. As long as you keep the consistency and are truly dedicated it won't be long. Holla be if you need advice. Have you previously been in shape before or is this your first ever journey?

I was in shape and athletic prior to going to college lol. I stopped playing Rugby and just ate whatever.

Thanks for your help!

In that case should be a lot easier, the main thing is just being dedicated tbh. I train and have made gains but not regularly enough to make massive gains and when I look back at it, I could have done so much more and feel disappointed, which in turn makes me lose motivation, try not to fall into that from the start, it's a painful loop.

I eat alot but learned how to lose alot of weight quickly. Caffeine(3-4 cups of coffee), weight lifting (nothing intense) and HIIT.

Circular or Triangular? Anyways..you could always watch exercise videos on YouTube and/or go for a jog, jump rope, swimming etc.
Physical exercise shouldn't be too much of a problem however, eating healthy part might be since it's more psychological. Nothing wrong with having junk sometimes, but maybe mix it around a little..add some vegetables to the side. Keep yourself busy and don't eat when you're bored..drink a lot of water as well.

I need to cut out processed foods, being accustomed to the easiness of use.
Otherwise, same situation and same goal. Subscribed.

That's one of my goals too. I want to loose 10 pounds but my main priority is to get toned. I just want to feel stronger and faster because I know that will help me feel more confident. So, good luck to you and drinking water is a great start! I would suggest jogging too. That's what I'm gonna start doing and hopefully I can save money for the gym. People tell me I'm fine but like I said my priority is to get strong, fast and agile.

To actually follow through you'll need a very good reason to. If it's important enough you'll find a way.

To stick with working out, eating healthy it helps to find your reason why. There's a book I bought called burn the fat feed the muscle that talks about that and it's been the one thing that's finally helped me get into the best shape of my life even though I've been working out on and off since I was a teenager.

It's given me the discipline to stick with it steadily for the first time and is helping me understand how the body responds to calories, carbs, protein and fat.

I've gone from 27% body fat to 17%, 38" waist to 34" and 175 lbs to 163 lbs in three months. It's not difficult to eat healthy and adopt that lifestyle.

I'd be happy to help you where I can.
