Goals for the remainder of 2016


I guess we are almost halfway through 2016 (sorry if this is a depressing thought), so what would you like to accomplish still for this year?
My goals:
- successfully give a presentation (I guess I will have to, when I start my MA in September...)
- make one friend
- speak up when someone disrespects me, at least once
- get some type of job/internship
I hope they are realistic.

My goals:
- be more relaxed about what people expect of me that I don't want to do and not try to please them or argue.
- find ways to do art many times a week.
- keep up the practice of relaxing and deep breathing when a negative thought about talking to someone comes up.
- do more yoga and exercise with stress relief in mind.
- journal more and read more about psychology and fear.
- do more fun things with my kid.
- clear out the house to prepare for a remodel.

-try to be more sociable
-look at people in the eye when speaking to people rather than looking down
-make a friend + have a lasting friendship
-initiate conversations more often
-smile more
