He's been non-stop putting his Cabinet together. He is talking about the weekend. I would think liberals would be out there praising him for not reversing all of Obama's actions in one fell swoop at 12:01pm Friday January 20. He said he was going to wait for the initial rush of the event to calm down before doing anything.

And people call my statements nonsensical? Heh, double standard as always. We never said impeach Obama for playing golf - just that it was inappropriate to be doing so after people in Paris died (Charlie Hebdo).

Good grief.

You're being ridiculous. You know it.

No president in the history of the USA has ever taken the first couple days off. This isn't a side job.

You defended Obama over much worse. Don't bring my "character" into it. You don't know me.

If he takes a weekend off, that means he'll probably be working like a dog.

I was forced to take four of my five weeks of vacation off in December - use it or lose it - because I had to work all year. Yeah, it was that bad!

It's not just a weekend. It's very first days in office. The most critical time any one president needs to pay attention.

You were the one that said wait until he gets into office.

You said don't worry about his words.

Guess were going to have to wait even more.

He fills the swamp. He's Putin best friend. He doesn't want to work.

You've made a really huge mistake electing this guy.

The number of jobs staying at Carrier keeps getting smaller. Now it's down to 730. For 7 million dollars in tax breaks!

Doubtful. You've excused deplorable Donald's adultery, sexual assault, treasonous comments, bigotry, hate, misconduct, threatening violence on Americans, pornography, theft, lies, scamming and tax evasion.

"One thing he (Trump) does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him."- Bill Clinton

Without question the worst president we’ve ever had- Harry Reid on trump.

No question, Trump is racist.- America's heroine Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

All roads with you lead to Putin.- Pelosi to trump on his treason

I didn't excuse it.

Typical leftist labeling - the need to personalize and identify a behavior to blast, denigrate, and tear down. It has done wonders for the Democratic Party.

His comments are pretty self-explanatory. I don't like some of things he has said, but a lot of them were extrapolated and that is just as bad.

Asked whether or not public school should have guns available on demand, Betsy DeVos answered affirmatively. She thought schools should keep guns ready for Grizzly Bear attacks.

With swearing-in, Trump to come face-to-face with justice he has berated as a ‘dummy’

Quote:
“Dummy” was just the beginning. Over the next four years, Trump tweeted that the chief justice’s decision was “bull***t,” irrational, “disloyal” and “stupidity.” He has insulted Roberts on Twitter nearly two dozen times, making the chief justice by far the biggest target of Trump’s ire on the court.
Awkward.

In the mood for something that isn't just noise?

I found this pretty interesting. This is Donald Trump right after 9/11. What I find interesting is that he seems to express that it's "very sad" or "terrible" or whatever it is he says but if you really listen to him, he says it exactly the way he says everything else. Absolutely no emotion in his voice. None. Not anger. Not sadness. Not despair. He'd just seen something like 3000 people die in his own back yard and it was like he was discussing lunch.

I was hundreds of miles away from NYC that day and didn't know anyone who lived there and I had more emotion than that. Even Peter Jennings had more of a basic emotional response than that and I'm sure he'd seen plenty of bad stuff over his career. Most of the news people had more emotion than Trump. Basic anger, if nothing else.

More than one psychologist has diagnosed him with different Personality disorders. I thought it was pretty obvious. Thats why he embraces anyone that shows affection and destroys anyone that critiques him.

Oh I get it. I know exactly what you mean. You don't have to prove the man is a sociopath to me. My point was that if there's such a thing as a president being restrained by his own conscious and empathy, I wouldn't expect anything like that from Trump. On any issue. This guy is pure ice.

RICK PERRY: I regret saying we should eliminate the Department of Energy

Quote:
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for energy secretary, said he regrets making statements about abolishing the Department of Energy in 2011.

“I have a couple of other issues I’d like to touch upon,” Perry said toward the end of his opening remarks before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

He continued: “I have learned a great deal about the important work being done every day by the outstanding men and women of the Department of Energy. I have spoken several times to Secretary Moniz about the operation. I have spoken to his predecessors. And if confirmed, my desire is to lead this agency in a thoughtful manner surrounding myself with the expertise on the core function of the department. My past statements made over five years ago about abolishing the Department of Energy do not reflect my current thinking. In fact, after being briefed on some of the vital functions of the Department of Energy, I regret recommending its elimination.
