"have I not reason to hate and to despise myself? Indeed I do; and chiefly for not having hated and despised the world enough."
~William Hazlitt

"There have been times when only a hair's-breadth has intervened betwixt myself and the seething devil-ridden world of madness; for the hideous knowledge, the horror- blackened memories which I have carried so long, were never meant to be borne by the human intellect."
~Clark Ashton Smith

Stuff You Should Know (educational)

The Dollop (history)

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History (history)

Neil Degrasse Tyson's Star Talk (space/science)

A podcast titled 'Noam Chomsky' and it has over 150 of his speeches from the 60s to the present.

Bald Move (movies/tv reviews)

We Hate Movies (movie reviews)

NPR Planet Money (economics)

Democracy Now! (news)

Left politics:

Revolutionary Left Radio

Coffee with Comrades

It's Going Down

Eat The Rich

Eyes Left

Intercepted

The Last Straw

Dead Pundit Society

Citations Needed

Jacobin Radio

Economic Update

Anti-Capitalist Chronicles

and others that I'm forgetting

Can't think of a complete list right now, this is just some random stuff that came to mind:

---

For US politics

I listen to:

Destiny (liberal left)

https://www.twitch.tv/destiny
https://www.youtube.com/user/destiny

^ not just politics, the philosophy stuff and people he gets on stream are sometimes interesting.

Vaush (socialist)

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1E...j1Ei70D9VEFrPQ

---

For international politics, there really isn't much to choose from. I occasionally watch:

The Duran (right wing, Greece / UK):

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCde...mySxV9N1w0Au-w

^ was interesting during the crisis in Libya and in the Mediterranean in the past year or two. (anti-Turkey)

The International Crisis Group (N/A)

https://www.youtube.com/c/CrisisgroupOrg/videos

^ interesting couple of episodes on the Ethiopia dam crisis.

---

Not really politics, mostly just anti-Chinese government stuff I was into for a while, lol:

ADV China (N/A)

https://www.youtube.com/c/ADVPodcasts/videos

I stopped watching though, because it's too negative and got boring after a while.
I've seen a number of Vaush debates over the last year and a half, parts of the Left like to talk trash about him but I think it's often in bad faith. I first saw his debate w/ the Kill Stream which was pretty entertaining and I've seen a number of his other debates that center around trans rights, BLM, and of course the alt right, all pretty good.

oh I was talking about Vaush. I haven't seen Destiny though I'm aware that he's good at debating the far right.
