"that time of the month"

my anxiety SKYROCKETS when i'm PMSing and on my period. i faked being sick the other day at work so they'd send me home because i was way too overwhelmed. does this intense anxiety happen to any other women here?

i know it hurts. that's life. if nothing else, it's life.
itís real, and sometimes it fooking hurts,
but it's sort of all we have.

Happens to me along with depression. I really think I have PMDD. I absolutely hate it!

Both my anxiety and depression skyrocket. My hormones seriously screw me up..I'm convinced I have PMDD.
Some months are worse than others. Sometimes it gets so bad that I have sucidal thoughts and feel like I can't leave my house. The severe anxiety/depression can last anywhere from a few days to two weeks. Then when it's over I can't understand why I felt like the world was ending. It's like there's a switch in my brain that gets turned off.
Another weird thing is a few days before and during ovulation my sa is usually pretty mild and my depression disappears.

Guys do have it.

And yes, I am a totally different person PMS week. So much so that I have to predict it with accuracy, put it on a calendar and warn my husband. I get so crazy that I lose my grip on the fact that I am PMSing, all of my emotions feel so 'real' and permanent.

Nah - just Paxil fat.
Bloating, yeah, that's it. Water retention.
Our hormones can go weird, too. I would feel like Popeet's avatar. That kid needs a hug.
