Sound localization

Does anyone experience problems detecting which direction a voice or sound in general is coming from? I notice this happens a lot to me when someone says something or is trying to get my attention I will think it's coming from a completely different direction. It seems to happen more often when anxiety levels are high.

Probably being less alert to external stimuli from the surrounding environment when you're distracted with your anxiety.

The truth is strictly what the ones in power perceives it to be.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.
