Anyone Read This Gem of A Book? (Borderline PD)
STOP WALKING ON EGSHELLS? It is supposed to be a book about understanding/coping with a family member who has Borderline Personality Disorder.....and of course the more I read the more it was describing me. Great book. I highly recommend it especially to those who cut or self harm. I'm not scared that I might be BPD but amused and relieved. Absurdity amuses me and my relationship antics are somewhat that. Also, I believe that I can get therapy and really improve and cope. If in fact BPD is my problem. Happy reading to all.

Re: Anyone Read This Gem of A Book? (Borderline PD)
I've heard of it but it bugs me how there's so many books about coping with us borderliners and like 2 that are written for borderliners themselves. It's like well there's no hope for you so we'll just teach everyone how to deal with you.
Edit - here's a good pages if you want to learn more about it and self diagnose :b http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/border ... er/DS00442 http://www.palace.net/~llama/psych/bpd.html |

Thanks! Now that I've read this book, I'mwondering if my behavior is BPD or a reaction to being involved with a close friend who is BPD. It's confusing!! This book btw does give lots of credence to the improvement of the BPs condition.
