Nitric oxide and COVID-19

I learned that nitric oxide is being experimented with to patients w/ COVID-19 with good results but that they're not very sure of it yet. What are your thoughts?

Won't it cause a lot of erections in male patients?

Waiting for a beam to break through here,
A chain-way vision bright and clear.
This must be it,
Longed for Bliss,
First it was so quiet and now I know I am not alone in here.

I heard recently that there is a blood pressure component to The Corona.

Too much NO can cause Parkinson's and even Alzheimer's due to the expanded blood flow.

I believe I used it as a muscle building supplement in the past... you can get a lot of NO just by eating beets. No idea if it helps with SARS CoV 2 though it does increase blood flow I believe.

^ In that case, I should be able to beet Covid a bunch of times over because I love beets. (I don't eat a lot of them but I could eat a whole bunch without breaking a sweat if I wanted to).

I only like them pickled. I don't even know if there is any other way to eat them.

TBH, I don't know if the ones I used to get in the cans were pickled or not. I just remember liking them. I also remember that my dad used to get pickled beets and put boiled eggs in them. Which was amazing.

From already having some medical / scientific knowledge that one of the parts in the mechanism that helps men get erections is the amazingly simple molecule nitric oxide. It's release of nitric oxide that plays a major role in making a man achieve an erection. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which is an agent which opens up blood vessels to increase blood flow.

So if you're going to put nitric oxide into people, then I wonder if it will cause male.patients to possible get unwanted erections?

@millenniumman75 what do you think?

As long as arteries and veins aren't clogged, yes. I think I am getting it confused with what the dentist uses.

Nitrous oxide N2O. It's also called laughing gas and is a sedative. The oxides.of nitrogen are actually quite interesting. The nasty one is Nitrogen dioxide.
