Harvey Weinstein tested positive for Corona

So yeah, that just happened.

Harvey Weinstein 'has coronavirus': Rapist, 68, 'tests positive and is put in isolation' just days after he was moved from Rikers Island to an upstate NY prison to start his 23-year sentence.

I think it's good that they test prisoners because that seems like a terrible environment to let infectious disease run rampant. Those of us not in prison can self quarantine and hopefully have support of friends/family. The test isn't so much for the sake of the infected person as it is for those who they might infect. I'd object more if someone like Weinstein gets elaborate medical *treatment* that is denied to others.

Yeah, prisons are places where lots of people cannot distance themselves. Infections tend to run rampant in places like that. It makes sense to test them. And that's also why prisoners are released from prison now. The fewer are in there, the fewer infected there will be.

I don't question him getting a test. I just hope Corona won't take him. He is old. He got 20+ years. He should at least serve a few of them.

Google tells me that a total of 38 inmates were tested positive: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-rikers-island

So yeah, they cannot distance themselves. I feel bad about this.

If he has coronavirus, then he has about a month to live. He's that old and feeble (as his team of lawyers clearly told the judge.

If he suddenly gets past the virus...

Given his age, having heart disease and diabetes, his chances aren't good. Although the presence of reverse karma always tend to power through in this world. Maybe Charles Manson passed his to him when he finally died.

The truth is strictly what the ones in power perceives it to be.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

Somehow I knew he'd get it. He was gonna get out of his sentence somehow.

It's interesting that they're releasing prisoners that's like admitting a lot of people don't really need to be in there (which of course they don't especially in the US.)

Some people heard my words and thought it meant they knew me
Truth is, I don't exist, I'm just a soundtrack to your movie
Some background figure in a story that's already scripted
And what I feel's just felt for you to hear me ****ing spit it
I jump in many different heads through these words and poems
Always hoping maybe the next leap'll be my leap home

Alot of them just have a few screws loose upstairs, historically they would have probably been sent for electric shock therapy & lobotomy's.

*UPDATE*

He survived and is out of quarantine.

Apparently, his family thought corona "would be the end of him". He suffers from high blood pressure, heart problems, severe diabetes and a spine condition. Talk about underlying health conditions!
