My dad said the Walmart was packed today.
Stores and restaurants are able to open tomorrow and based on what I've seen, few people will bother adhering to social distancing and mask wearing, and few, if any, stores will bother enforcing it. And NO, we don't have any ****ing option to just shop online or get stuff delivered because we live in the country outside a crap town with so few services, our local hospital doesn't even have inpatient capabilities.
I'm getting really anxious again. This is happening too fast. And I've been waiting over two months to get my teeth pulled and I don't think they're going to keep my June appointment YET AGAIN and there's already a big chip out of one tooth and I really don't think they're going to last for another reschedule, I wish they'd just pulled them in March as planned, all I'd had was two more lousy days to go when they rescheduled. Now the virus is probably going to start spreading even faster and I'll have this hanging over my head for God knows how many months more because dental hygienist is the riskiest job right now.
Our hospitals are suffering due to money loss from lack of elective procedures, which I doubt many patients consider "elective" in the first place. I keep checking around to see any sign of them being allowed again but there's no hint of any such thing happening soon. No, it's more important to open up to tourists than to open up basic medical services for the locals.
Why can't people just wear their ****ing masks, keep their distance, and visit only the places they really have to for just a little longer. And people down south (in the state) STAY down south a while longer, our area doesn't have the resources to handle swarms of infected tourists, we can barely even handle our own. Our stores STILL keep emptying out of necessities.
I just want these ****ing teeth pulled.
If I don't reply to you, it's NOTHING PERSONAL. It's my ANXIETY.

Det. Kristeva: "If it were legal you'd marry me, right?"
Det. Devetko: "Definitely."
(It's legal now!! But Kristeva's already married. ;_; )
