Post The Last Dumb/Clumsy Thing You Did

I couldnít think of a better name for this thread, but this is where you can post the last dumb things you did because you werenít thinking properly or the last clumsy thing you did.

I did a lot of things like that yesterday because I didnít get much sleep and wasnít feeling well:

* Sat on the arm of an armchair and got scared when the chair moved.

* Got out of the car to help my mum because she was stuck on something, walked around to the back, opened the boot and then she said she fixed it herself, so I got back in the car. She asked me what I was going to do to help her, and I didnít know.

* Forgot where we were for a few seconds.

* Somehow tipped my dadís burger out of its box and into the bag upside down and needing to be put back together when I was looking for a receipt.

* Was supposed to get a tissue to give to my nephew, but sat on the couch with it instead of giving it to him because I forgot why I got it out of the box.

I don't know about the last clumsy thing I did but I do a lot of stupid crap. I often bang my feet against things because I have so much stuff in my room there is usually a fairly narrow path to walk and I have relatively long legs and have relatively poor coordination.

A couple of days ago I dropped a hammer on the top of my foot. That left a nice bruise. I do stuff like that fairly often too. I'm always messing around with something and I'll lay heavy or pointy tools on the edge of a counter or something and then knock it off with my elbow. I usually manage to get my feet out of the way if it's something like a knife or a pair of scissors. Either that or it just lands on my foot sideways and hurts but doesn't jab me. Eventually it's bound to land pointy side on foot. That's gonna suck.

Bought three cookies knowing I was going to be walking about in the hot sun for an hour or so. They didn't turn out too bad though.

Hugged a bull which spooked him, I think he thought I was coming onto him & he don't swing that way.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I always like when I'm walking along feeling pretty good about myself when I misstep on even ground and sort of half stumble forward. You know when you haven't mastered basic walking you shouldn't try to impress somebody with your smoothness.

Was going to the dining room earlier to get on the exercise machine (that is where it dwells). I had my headphones getting ready to put them on. I was stretching the earcups apart to put them on my head and the right one slipped out of my hand and thumped me hard on the side of the nose. Which startled me and I slung my head sideways in a weird way and almost lost my balance.

Haha, yes! I've done this. I was recently playing a game on my phone and it takes up the whole screen. So I'm also looking for my phone, wanting to check it, unaware I was already on it.

Walked away with a game controller while it was still plugged into the charger and ended up pulling the whole system down with it. UGHHHH.

I've also been one to look for my glasses while wearing them, and search for my phone while it's in my pocket, thinking it's lost.

Sometimes I think catalogues or other printed things are touch screens, and I try to zoom in on them. A few days ago, I asked my mum if she thinks it’s better to give my dog half a cup of dog food in his bowl twice a day or two half cups of dog food once a day. She kept laughing at me because two half cups is one full cup.

I asked a police officer for his contact card as I remember a few years ago the officers I spoke to regarding different cases would hand me a card that has their badge number and contact information to follow up on the case. This officer looked back at me with a smile while blushing saying regular constables and officers aren’t important enough to have cards, usually it’s detectives and homicide officers etc. who carry cards. He told me to wait here while he goes back to the cruiser to write down the case number and his name and badge number for me and he will come back, I smiled and nodded but I hope I didn’t make him feel embarrassed or anything like that...

Almost killed some hipster on a bike while ubering. He was in my blind spot the entire time I was driving down the road, then he popped out of it as I was feet from the crosswalk.

Said to myself 'Where is my phone?' and had it in my hand the entire time.

I cannot change your destiny, can only help you think
As far as my horizons lead -- your thoughts will be more deep
Hope inside is torturing me -- keeps painfully alive
A light inside, a knowledge deep, that shines so bright!
