Prozac/Fluoxetine question

Hey all.

So yeah I was on these ****ty SSRIs for a couple months, been off for like a week (was a pain in the *** convincing my parents/doc)... how long does Fluoxetine/Prozac take to COMPLETELY leave my system 100%?

Thanks.

Fluoxetine's half-life is up to 6 days, and its active metabolite is up to 16 days. That means it'll still be in you for a long time. I've heard that if you do the math, prozac takes 75 days to TOTALLY leave your system, but 2 weeks sounds about right for you to stop having ****ty side effects.
