No. I'm just useless at killing myself, nothing never worked for me, I'm always only failing and staying alive, but I don't want it at all. I don't want to live, I don't want to be alive... If there was an easy way/chance to die, I would do/take it.

Even shy people can be sassy sometimes...
I'll put drunk raccoon in my signature as well, because I CAN...

What gives me hope is that I CAN GET OFF the medications I'M still on which really aren't good FOR ME. I CAN GET ENOUGH FRIENDS one day irl who I'd like to talk to and they really like me back as well. The problem is that I want it to be more quickly *hugs* everyone! @leaf in the_wind , @conantheworthless , @ShotInTheDark God also gives me hope.

Gambling. If I can win enough games I can live the life I want. Hasn't gone too well.

I guess I cling on to hope because I have to. If there is no chance of change then life is not worth it.

I'm a manic-depressive - but I experience more mania than depression. So I don't get down that much. PLus I've had a lot of very positive experiences in my life. I also have a wife and son that are crazy about me - I get a bit bored and lonely sometimes but I have nothing really to lose hope about. It would be stupid.

I was gonna link one of them but couldn't decide which one.

Lucy's bitten
Neck is bleeding bad
The teeth have long departed
Yet the desire burns strong
On in desire for destruction
One on which she'll depend
One that ceases to deepen
Too near bitter end

Black through the mountains
She turns her loosening ring
Guardian angel sings
"I think you've lost your wings, but you're still yours
You're still yours, you're still yours"

I don't really have any hope that my life will get better. But I do find some of my projects interesting so I try to focus on completing them and ignoring everything else.

Just the little things I manage to accomplish, like getting a good grade..But I still continue to feel quite hopeless on a larger scale because I'm used to everything always going wrong.

Yet I don't even step outside
So many sacrifices keep me alive
Yet I don't even bother to survive."

Falling asleep. I hope I don't wake up.

Something that cannot be changed has to be accepted so you can be at peace with it.

Something that can be changed but isn't being changed needs investigation.

You would be surprised however by what most people say cannot be changed but it actually can be.

hope is as hollow as fear. I try to stick to the present. to give up hope is a good thing.

But maybe everyone's situation is different. There is always a context. Sometimes hope will get you to the top of a mountain, or you'll stop climbing and fall.

No offence mate - but that's a load of crap. Once you lose hope you may as well lay down and die. It's all over - you've already lost.

Hope is what keeps you going.

Edit: obviously on here we have to give a qualification, for some people it must be pretty hard to have any if they've had a ****ty life.
