My Mood: Tired
Reading this thread has made me really sad for some reason. Probably because I understand the replies completely (and avoid all contact occasionally myself).

Why do I want friends but feel like running in the opposite direction if some tries to talk to me? The joys of SA, I guess that's what makes us odd to many people, I cannot even explain it myself.

I can talk to strangers with no problem. In contrast I want to run away if I see someone I know a little bit. I appear very rude so they usually don't bother trying to talk to me again.

"Sometimes I wish I wasn't as conscious as I am. It would be so much easier."

At the moment, my brain goes into instant panic mode and looks for the earliest opportunity to leave the situation.

Pretend I left something or forgot to pick up something and I have to hurry away to get it. It doesn't work when it is a person you do this to recurringly and they catch on to you always trying to avoid them. Especially people that are insecure themselves.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

If I fail to adapt to the fault of others, it is my fault.
